What is the best way to get a client for email copywriting?

Now, these days, we can afford to think beyond the pasta box, right?

E-mail is a great way to communicate, but today's cold e-mail can end up in the unopened or spam folder before it reaches the intended reader.

Not only that, they are often seen as needy or parasites. I honestly don't want to be either.

A far better way to do the job (which worked for  SPADES) is to be strategic and clear.

1. What it offers, specifically

. If it's hard to say this at first, think about what you don't offer. Hope this helps.

Create lists of copy types that are familiar and useful for future conversations with prospects, both online and offline.

2. Brief 'elevator presentation'

- As in

'I want companies to connect with their ideal customers, listen to your message, immediately understand the value of what you are offering, and buy.

- Then we can create a second sentence that deals with some details.

"I will do this by writing an engaging series of emails. I will polish and clarify the website copy  and  write a landing page that leads you on!"

Half the time you bid on methods because you don't know what you want/need) instead, sound like a pro good at creating a specific copy mechanism that works.

What is likely to happen is that if they need to write something that is not on your given list, they will ask you to do the same. It's up to you.

So if you're clear about it and you're actually providing a solid service, it's time to start thinking about where you need to go to find customers.

My secret weapon is LinkedIn.

Don't write your LinkedIn profile as a resume or resume, write it as a problem solver for people. In your description, call your ideal customer, telling them what you do.

New to LinkedIn? Connect with writers, marketers, and others in the industry you want to work in. Make sure these people look like they are likely to be decision-makers or influencers.

So, an influencer is someone who is also a copywriter or marketer, and if you develop a relationship with them, they will often endorse you or ask you to participate in a project.

Such people are connected and good at what they do. It also earns the trust of decision-makers and entrepreneurs around them.

This is why people often ask me, "Do you know anyone who can help me with [insert problem here]?" Do you know if it's a communication issue or a marketing issue? Come on!

Honestly, the key to success in finding customers on LinkedIn is genuinely connecting and showing interest in people.

Don't send messages about services until you've taken the time to look at someone's profile and see what you have in common with them.

It could be a department, an association, or the university you attended. What you're looking for is a conversation starter.

The next thing to do is to get your message out, and your goal is to be genuinely friendly, to mention 'something' in common, and to ask questions about your industry and role.

If they're worth keeping talking about, they'll get involved and talk about what you're doing in no time.

After all, people only care what you have to say if they know you care.

Most of the time jobs don't come quickly. On average, it takes about 90 days from first contact to a job from places like LinkedIn. I have had it before, but only conservatively.

And  you need to stay close to that person's radar (again, in ways you don't need to)

Be smart and think about that too.

If you find information on LinkedIn or elsewhere that really helps you make connections (it's probably 100% relevant), send a message linking to them and letting them know you care about them. just show An opportunity to deepen ties.

The bottom line is that not only do people enjoy working with people they like, but if you do your best to help people without asking for anything in return, they will remember you more.

There are also offers to write small jobs here and there without asking for compensation.

You have to wait 120 seconds.

Wait...
